Vintage 1974 Seiko 6105-8110 Serviced With Box Willard Divers Watch All Original
The Seiko 6105-8110, released in 1970, marks Seiko’s third dive watch and a milestone in vintage watch history. This 150-meter diver was in production until it was succeeded by the 6309. Renowned for its rugged design, it gained iconic status on the wrist of Martin Sheen in the 1978 film Apocalypse Now, earning it the nickname “The Willard” after his character.
This particular 6105, made in June 1974, is in exceptional condition. It features a beautifully preserved original dial, free of the common black marks often seen on this model. The original hands remain in fantastic condition as well, and the watch still showcases its original factory brushing, with no refinishing or polishing.
Recently serviced by us, this 6105 is running smoothly with accurate timekeeping, and the quick-set date functions perfectly. It comes on its original strap, which is like new. All seals, including the crown seal, have been replaced. However, please note that it hasn’t been pressure tested, so we cannot guarantee water resistanceTempo Prima are an Australian dealer for Uncle Seiko products. A Note on Owning a Vintage Watch:
Mechanical watches are not as precise as battery-powered ones and occasionally need servicing. These timepieces are vintage or pre-owned, so some wear and patina from age and use is expected. Handle with care to avoid damage.
We hope this exceptional piece brings you years of enjoyment and good health!
