Vintage 1979 Seiko 7548-700B Serviced JDM Divers Watch Original
Presenting an Original Seiko 7548 diver’s watch from Feburary 1979, a model famously worn by General Norman Schwarzkopf. This Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) piece features both English and Kanji day display, with a smooth hacking and quickset function for both day and date, all operating flawlessly. The Watch keeps excellent time, having just received a full service, including new seals and a genuine Seiko battery.
Condition is very good, showing minor signs of use and age, but with no damage. This watch retains its original factory parts, with a factory finish on the case (not re-polished). It’s fitted with a brand-new, premium Uncle Seiko Z199 bracelet with fat spring bars, protective plastic.
The recent full service (November/24) included fitting a new Seiko battery and precision testing on a Seiko quartz tester, confirming outstanding accuracy (photos available). The quick-set day and date function as they should, as does the hacking feature and screw-down crown. New seals were installed, but the watch hasn’t been pressure-tested, so waterproof status is not guaranteed.
